The Korean’s tradition of pre-wedding shoots come from way back, and it is usually for couples to announce the coming celebration of a lifetime – their wedding day. And because Koreans are incredibly proud of their heritage, the tradition of pre-wedding photo shoots is one of those well-kept practices that they brought along with them even when they leave the country. The tradition has endured through time, and now it is something that we are trying to help keep alive.
And surely, this tradition is of great importance to a couple like Jenny and Jeffrey. For this pre-wedding shoot, Jenny is all radiant smiles as she is posed with her handsome husband-to-be Jeffrey. Against the gritty backdrop of brick walls and the beautifully gloomy skies outside the window, Jeffrey wore a crisp black tux complimented by the silk white wedding gown on Jenny, and they shone like the sun after the rain. For the next location, we have chosen a gorgeous corridor-feel where Jenny wore a shorter traditional gown and a classy gentleman’s suit for Jeffrey. And our final stop, the couple opted for a more candid and fun ambience as they wore simple white shirts and loose ties. Charmingly, the couple could not keep their hands off each other, and it showed in the candid shots! They had fun posing together for the whole shoot, and they were all giddy as if they had just met yesterday.
Even with the different backgrounds and outfits, there is one thing that resonated from this beautiful shoot: throughout everything, this couple gravitates toward each other. Saehee and I are just as happy for we get to help them make memories come wedding day!
We hope you have fun looking at this session as much as we did!
