One of the amazing things about photography is that we have the unique ability to capture precious moments in time for our clients. That was absolutely the case for Lauren, Ryan and Santino. We were lucky enough to photograph their maternity session, newborn session and last October, their beautiful Brix on the Fox wedding. We have enjoyed being a part of this growing family’s life and documenting their love!
We’re so fortunate to have been able to photograph so many beautiful and memorable events for Lauren and Ryan. We first met Lauren at a baby fair in Chicago. We first did their maternity session under our maternity and newborn photography brand, Chicago Baby Photo Studio. Then, once they had welcomed sweet little Santino into the world, Saehee photographed their newborn session at the Chicago Baby Photo Studio. Little Santino is just the most photogenic little guy! We loved the images from his newborn session.
Lauren and Ryan’s Brix on the Fox Wedding
When Lauren reached out to us again to photograph their October wedding, we were overjoyed. It was so wonderful to be able to see Lauren and Ryan again for their October wedding at Brix on the Fox. Again, little Santino stole the show.
This wedding was full of beautiful, genuine emotion. Many of the wedding guests had known the bride and groom since they were very young. It was truly a joyous affair! It was one of those heartwarming weddings where all the guests offered blessings and the atmosphere was filled to the brim with love.
Of course, Santino, now nearly one year old, stole the show whenever he could. The flower girls pulled Santino down the aisle in a wagon and it was such a joyful moment. We loved how little Santino stole the hearts of the crowd and looked on to see his mom and dad share their vows and say their “I do’s.”
Their wedding day was rainy, which of course means good luck on the wedding day, but not always good for the actual wedding photos. Luckily, Brix on the Fox is steeped in rustic elegance with handsome exposed brick and tall, industrial windows. It provided the perfect backdrop for their wedding day and the rain didn’t dampen anyone’s spirits.
